The Wine Invest Sales and Buying teams travelled to Bordeaux to taste the 2011 En Primeur wines a few days ago. Overall, the 2011 is a promising vintage and shows undeniable strengths. The wines are of very good quality thanks to the weather which has been favourable to the grapes. The wines have a nice ripe fruit, a lovely texture and a long finish.

The 2011 looks very much like the 2008 and 2001 vintages and could be the best value for money vintage of the last 10 years.
