Robert Parker's Note, Wine Advocate April 2010

"Hubert de Bouard has positioned this wine as less of a second wine and more of a specific vineyard wine, recognizing what Ducru Beaucaillou, Leoville Las Cases, and Latour have done with their second wines, making them essentially single-vineyard wines rather than wines culled from inferior lots of wine. Alcohol here is 14% and the blend is equal parts Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The wine is elegant, rich, and pretty, with raspberry and blueberry notes intermixed with some espresso roast and spice box. It is lush, delicious, seductive, and ideal for drinking in its first 10 years of life. (Tasted once.)"

Wine Spectator's Note,web-only 2010

"Very chewy, with ripe dark fruits and a mineral, spicy character. Full and silky, with a medium finish. Score range: 88-91" _JS
