"As one would reasonably expect at only 6 years of age, there really wasn't a great deal of difference between the performance of the magnum and the 750 ml version other than perhaps a bit more freshness in the magnum. Otherwise, the note from 750 ml is used here save for the projected drinking window: the white flower, honeysuckle, peach and apple notes remain to combine with unusually elegant and refined full-bodied flavors that retain excellent definition while retaining the classic power and muscle of a fine Bâtard. This is exceptionally long and I very much like the focus; indeed, this actually resembles the Chevalier in terms of its aggregation of so many attractive qualities, particularly impressive depth. This should be capable of aging effortlessly though it should see its apogee in the 2014+ range".
