2002 - Bonneau du Martray Corton Grand Cru
- Drinking Window:
"The very ripe and flashy red and black fruit aromas present last year have become a good deal more reserved now that the wine is in bottle but they remain superbly elegant. The wonderfully fresh, pure and bright flavors are blessed with perfectly integrated tannins and a long, sweet, moderately structured finish. The density from the low yields is evident and the sap completely coats and stains the palate. In short, this is an exquisitely elegant Corton that has nothing at all in common with the "brutish" examples crafted elsewhere".
