"Not big, but a lovely, harmonious Lynch-Bages featuring blackberry, cherry and vanilla aromas and flavors, medium body, fine tannins and fresh finish. Better in 1998. 35,000 cases made". JS
"Once past the herbal, dill pickle, and green pepper-scented nose, this dense ruby/purple-colored wine offers good structure, medium body, and soft, ripe, alluring flavors possessing fat, glycerin, and fruit. Hopefully, the herbal aromas will develop a more cedary character with another 1-2 years of bottle age. There is plenty of blackcurrant, jammy fruit in the wine's flavor profile. Anticipated maturity: now-2008".
